Communication of science to the public is critical for the acceptance and advancement of science. Communicating our work through traditional scientific journals is important to relay what we do to other scientists, however, voicing our expertise outside of academia through a variety of media platforms accessible to the general public is essential to the advancement and acceptance of science.
